... the program is facing the long climb uphill that it was facing in early April when Young was hired. We've come a loooooooong way in just the past two and a half months. So I think some optimism is certainly justified.

I don't sense that people have unrealistic expectations for the coming season. i think that most are simply relieved that it won't be a train wreck and that the program seems to be on solid footing again.
