I could see VT end up being a 6th seed if this were to happen

1. Kansas or Michigan State
2. Michigan State or Kansas
3. UCLA (could end up being a #2 seed)
4. BYU
5. Dayton
6. VT
7. Georgia
8. Chaminade

Now if the tournament seeds the teams by drawing names out of a hat, then that could make for a more interesting tournament. At least there is the possibility that Kansas, Michigan State, or UCLA could end up meeting each other in the Quarterfinals instead of Semifinals or Championship Game.
