Any idea why NBC decided to go with an earlier kickoff time?


At least I thought in the past NBC preferred a 3pm or 3:30pm kickoff for afternoon games when Notre Dame was playing a "named opponent" and the earlier kickoffs were reserved for when Notre Dame played a G5 opponent or lesser named P5 opponent.
