I don't see how they keep getting listed as favorites. They are a "blue blood" and Calipari is a heck of a salesman, but I don't see how that program is a good fit for KJ. Way too much uncertainty with the roster turnover to think they are a good spot to "chase a ring". If that is his motivation, then MSU is already #1 in a lot of preseason polls and he can take Nick Ward's spot. I understand why grad transfers from weaker conferences go to KY because they get to prove they can do it against better competition. KJ already proves that in the ACC. There's also no way he can be the focus of the offense there as all of their "one and done" players are looking to show out for the NBA, too.
