I'll Probably regret this, but here goes:

My mostly TIC Post has generated quite a bit of discussion regarding the following:
(1) The size of Whit's nads and his influence on the conference in scheduling,
(2) The schedule itself.

Re (1): His standard answer to the schedule is that he has no influence on where and when they play. My point is this: Has he tried going and discussing the issue with the three schools (GT, UM and BC) to find out if there is a mutual benefit to flip-flopping the schedule for one year? I don't know, but he's never come forward and said they worked with UM (or whoever) and presented a united argument to change the schedule, but the conference schedulers wouldn't bite.

Re (2): The schedule probably won't change unless they find a dance partner and make a really strong argument to the schedulers. I like to go to all the games, particularly when I think they have a legit shot to run the table (like '99, I know different conference). I also like to go to Atlanta, Miami and Boston, but it is tough to go to all three in the same year. Please spare me the idiotic comment that you don't have to go. Really? I never thought of that. Most people who want to go can handle two but not the killer third. A change in schedule I think helps the die hards make all the games. I wholeheartedly support splitting UNC and Duke - IMHO the two best places to go. But go once each year and not twice in one year and nonce (new word) in the next year.

Go Hokies!
