the recruiting class with him to Texas A&M. It was insinuated on TSL that Buzz would never take the guys in this year's VT class with him to Texas A&M. And low and behold, he took everyone except the top rated recruit who instead went to UNC.

While many on here were not impressed, I think these are guys Buzz legitimately likes and finds undervalued by the rankings. Otherwise, he would have never let them follow him to Texas A&M and not even recruit the existing Aggie class and happy to let them all leave.

Sure fault him for using all the recruiting visits, for looking around at other schools, but not sure the lack of recruiting holds as much water now. He genuinely liked the recruiting class at VT and we'll know in 2 or 3 years if he was right.
