In 2003, we had locker room issues and guys freelancing on the field (doing their own thing and trying to make plays rather than playing within the structure of the defense).

In 2004, Beamer introduced the Team United bracelets (an insignificant thing but it was a symbol of a reset within the program -- a renewed focus on teamwork). I noticed the team wearing "Team First" t-shirts during the winter workouts or maybe during spring practice. Again, a t-shirt is insignificant -- but I wonder if it doesn't signify a similar reset that Fuente is trying to make -- similar to the one Beamer made in 2004.
