We still have some new adventures, acquirements, and surprises coming; but even now I sit here trying to imagine what a game is going to look like with this squad.

1) Anxious excitement to watch and learn CMY game style and game flow, and how he reacts to stress.

2) Excitement for seeing what Nolley brings to the table and excitement to watch my favorite player Wilkins (Chico). Chico, even with limited minutes last year, I feel, was very influential on our success. There is pure athletic ability ie. speed-strength-stamina and then IMO there is the eye hand coordination type athletic ability which I really think he possesses. He has a knack for cutting off passes or tipping balls loose, kinda like Jeff Allen used to do. You wouldn’t think Jeff Allen would have quick hands til he picked a guard on a crossover and was tossing the ball up court for a Dwash or Dorenzo Hudson slam. You know when you see that slightly overweight guy playing lights out beer pong? That guy was probably a baller in baseball in high school and role player on the b-ball team. Chico also brings x-factor hustle or make a play out of nowhere ability.

3) Who is gonna lead the team in scoring or be the one tossing up shots when we need it? You can have a full team of 9 to 10 ppg players but even then there is one guy that you are thinking let’s get him the ball we need some points. Our options for that role are mostly young. I know Nolley and Cone, maybe Samari Curtis could jump into it. Verdict still out on Bede, if he builds confidence we could see a brand new Bede. But FOR SOME REASON, I get this feeling that the Cattoor kid is gonna bring some magic, mainly behind the arc magic.
