I know a lot of the time he is running for his life and he has to throw off of the back of his foot or he can't step into his throws. He has remarkable arm strength and his highlight reel from last year shows a lot of great throws and he is not even stepping into his throws. The throws where he was able to step into them are the ones where our receivers did not have to break stride or go up for a jump ball to catch it. Of course this is tied to OL protection on the plays. I really am impressed with his arm strength. If he can improve his footwork a little and step into the throws more I think it could make him an even more effective passer.
