There's a HUGE difference between recognizing as a fan that next year is


going to be a very down year and giving up entirely. Even in a best case scenario, Blackshear is the only proven above average ACC player we'll have. Nolley may one day be one, but it's not likely that he will be early on. Bede might develop into one (but IMO is more likely to be average).

Should Blackshear come back, we have a shot to make the NIT. However, Blackshear can be the difference maker for taking an Elite 8/Sweet 16 team type team and making them a national title contender. In his final hurrah (if he comes back to college), why wouldn't he do that? Really, other than the name of the team, it's not like there are a lot of familiar faces. Most of his friends are gone. His coach is gone.
