To me that just highlights what's wrong with the NCAA in general. Why
should the "coaching change" waiver be a slam dunk versus a legitimate family issue? If anything it should be the other way around. If there's a legitimate family issue THAT should be a slam dunk. A coaching change should be scrutinized and not rubber stamped. Coaches change all the time. If we're going to ok every single waiver based on coaching changes then let's just get rid of the sitting out 1 year rule altogether.
