As I have stated several times, and CC has stated as well, Mike Young was not recruiting ACC-level players until just a couple weeks ago. He doesn't have any longstanding relationships with ACC-level recruits.

His newly-hired assistants do have some of those relationships, so the onus is on Mike to close with those recruits, and that's asking a lot. He's going to into living rooms to talk to kids and their families for the very first time, and he's going up against programs that have been communicating with those kids and their families for a long time. It's a low probability of success here. Doesn't mean it won't happen, it's just not likely at all.

I watched Mike very closely at his introductory press conference, and I couldn't detect a magic wand that he could wave to suddenly sign ACC-level recruits for the 2019 recruiting cycle. I looked hard and didn't seen one. It is what it is. This was part of the downside of hiring a 30-year Wofford veteran.

So dig in for the long haul and refrain from one-line posts that amount to frustrated sighs and do nothing but piss people off and give this entire board a bad reputation.
