Home football schedule next year stinks. Fans are doing a value analysis and deciding not to purchase tickets, and pick them up on StubHub instead (or wait for mini-packages). Some of those fans are taking it one step further and dropping their Hokie Club donation.

As hard as the Hokie Club and VTAD are trying to change the culture (give to support, instead of give to buy tickets and parking), people are still going to make value decisions with their money. I expect that that 2020 schedule, with Penn State, Miami, and Virginia, will get back those 1,000 members the Hokie Scholarship Fund has lost.
