I generally agree with what you are saying, in College Football there are a handful of schools that get all the 5*s and they are pretty much always going to win it. But....

If VT (or any other team with top 10-15 talent) landed Michael Vick, they could make a run at it. Conf championship game and the semi-final makes it hard, but there's a chance. (We don't get there in '99 without MV1)
