Quick looks like the 2019 backup in both


Kohls is one of the big camps that ranks kickers. They had Quick pretty high in kicking and punting coming out of high school.

So I'm guessing that Quick is now the #2 guy in FG and punt. It looks like he had a high touchback % in high school, so might be competing with Johnson for kickoff duties.

Mark Applegate (Oakton HS) is coming in in the fall and was a Virginia all-state punter. I think this coaching staff would prefer to red-shirt guys, but maybe he's in the mix for punting and kickoffs too.
