I really like his tape, his vertical is what impressed me the most, but he
also was good at driving to the basket, and demonstrated good handles and passing ability. He also has great toughness and he's really savvy. One sequence of plays that really impressed me when back to his 2017 summer highlights. He fights for a rebound, makes an outlet pass, and then after his teammate makes the shot (for which he had sprinted down the court and was ready for the rebound), he pretends to run down the court. Then right as the opposing team inbounds the ball, he cuts back to make a great steal, diving for the ball. Then he quickly finds his teammate to get the ball back in play without a jump ball. Pretty impressive back to back plays for a high school sophomore. Because of his high IQ and instincts, I think he'd be a great fit at the point. He's a little bigger and a slightly better shooter than JRob out of high school (38% from 3), but his toughness and instincts are very similar to our leading assist leader.
