Coleman made the team because he earned a schollie
based upon his play on the field...no coach (Beamer or not) is giving scholarships to kids because their father played for VT 25 years ago. Now if there was one schollie open and there were 2 RB's of
equal skill left, and coaches needed one more RB, I could agree that Coleman would have gotten it because he was a "legacy" as u put it,,,but it's just not true that C Fox was given a schollie because he was a legacy. Schollies are there for a reason, and being the son of a previous player isn't the reason why they are given out.
