Sorry, i'm butting my nose into a bunch of different posts

a perfect example is actually fairly recent and i brought it up when it happened.

towards the middle of the ACC season, Buzz was in an interview (may have been TTL) and he went out of his way to comment on how he memorizes the name of every assistant coach of every team they play and rattled off some other comments about his mental prowess. that's the approach of an arrogant man.

a more humble person says "i make a point to familiarize myself with assistants throughout the league b/c I was there. it means a lot to these folks to be known by their peers.". Not Buzz.

heck, every time he spouted off stats during an in-game interview or post-game interview is an example of how he couldn't keep a lid on his arrogance. most coaches will say "we need more paint touches to get better shots outside". buzz says "we had 17 paint touches out of 36 opportunities for a percentage of 48.6% and that impacted our 3 point % by a negative 2.8%". Again, i dig the nerd but in the context of other personality clues, it also came off the anti-humble.

there are brilliant people everywhere who have the mental capacity to remember incredible things and you'd never know. then there are those people that have to make sure you know what they're capable of and that they're THE better person for it. buzz is the latter.
