Our former writer Kyle Tucker just salivating over Blackshear to Kentucky

Has info breaking down KB’s nba stock as well

Apparently every school has already been in contact.

“ We’re looking for a place that could help him academically and better his chances of being drafted next year if he was to come back to school. I know about Kentucky and their coaches and Calipari since he was at Memphis even, and I know they win, they take care of their guys and they get them to the NBA.” “

On NBA prospects (Sam Vecenie)

His strength inside is an asset to any college team, and his ability to step away from the basket, put the ball on the deck a little bit, get to the foul line and even make the occasional jump shot is valuable,” Vecenie said. “From an NBA perspective, though, he’s a 22-year-old center who isn’t quite consistent enough as a shooter (33.3 percent from 3-point range) and who doesn’t really protect the rim (28 blocks in 35 games) at a rate commensurate with an NBA center. He also missed an entire year (2016-17) with a foot injury, meaning executives will want to get their eyes on his long-term medical outlook. I’d be pretty shocked to see him get invited to the combine.

“Could he get to that next level by moving to a different program and dominating? Maybe. Would he be better off developing those skills in the G League or overseas next year? I think you could make that case too, if he wants to go get paid.”
