We generally haven't had to deal with coaches leaving for bigger jobs. I think the only real losses we've had to deal with were Vick, Ryan Williams and David Wilson in football leaving early for the NFL.

But I'm not worried at all. Coach Young has been highly successful. He'll have to up his game moving to the ACC. But you don't go 30-5 in a season if you can't coach. Wofford played plenty of P5 teams tough, beating Seton Hall, and giving Kentucky a run for their money in the tournament.

It's reasonable for everyone to survey what's out there. That is going to become the new normal in college athletics. I trust Buzz' old players will see what's out there, see a positive future for the Hokies. Some will stay, some will go. But in the end, Tech men's basketball will remain doing just fine.
