I disagree. To leave it a better place, you leave a foundation to build on
There is no foundation left. You cannot replicate anything Buzz does. He is such a unique cat, you cannot build on anything he did since no one does it like him. He did not "position" the program. Yes, he took the program to next level success (at least for our standards), but he did not tee us up for building a successful program
He took his "culture", his attitudes and his style with him. We are starting from scratch. No more quote shirts, no more philosophy sessions, no more Buzz-isms. Sure he showed you can win here, whatever, but I'm worried that was temporary strictly due to Buzz. I don't think I would trade the Buzz years for a more traditional program build, but we are at ground zero again
