Anyone who asks for VT to put out fewer team highlights is clearly well-adjusted, happy, and enthusiastic about the program.

When basic marketing strategy is explained to such a person and they don't get it, it indicates the person's keen insight and impressive cognitive powers.

In my opinion, the prudent thing for the person to do at that point would be to simply admit that it is completely reasonable and appropriate for VT to market their football program as best as they can -- and that includes posting (gasp) defensive highlights. But I'm so glad you've doubled down instead -- it's really impressive. I love your plan for less marketing and promotion of the program. You have a future in social media marketing, no doubt about it.
