Wofford is an outstanding academic school, but only the size of some of the larger High Schools in the NRV. His assistant coaches were almost like volunteers, considering what the school was able to pay them, and still he went on the road and defeated UNC, Georgia, South Carolina, Auburn, VT, Wake Forest, NC St. He drove in a leased automobile on most of his recruiting trips except for summer trips to Nevada for AAU tournaments. He is very highly respected in the coaching profession and with game officials. I hope people will show more hope and respect for him and his family as he tries to take VT to the upper level of the ACC.
