I think I'm kind of glad they won it now...

In some odd way, at least in my mind, I feel like the pressure is now off. The worst case scenario has already happened, and... well, the earth didn't open up and swallow us. We're still here. No meteors are falling. I don't see thousands of birds outside my windows ready to eat me.

They are on a completely different level and path than us and that is ok. Granted, it's more fun to win games than lose games, but I also kind of like watching a thing evolve and progress. Watching our program grow under Buzz was fun and interesting. I'm kind of a roster/recruiting nerd so I love depth charts, rankings, rosters - all that stuff. When you are starting from rock bottom, it's easier to feel that progression than when you are trying to repeat a 35 win season or the like.

I'm just going to enjoy seeing this process bear out and see what MY can do. My expectations are low, so it's unlikely he will do much other than at least meet or exceed them. Wahoo's are national champs, so any comparison's are now pretty much null/void/useless for the foreseeable future. What is the saying, comparison is the thief of joy? I think that is true.
