It is gotten that way in places for a variety of reasons

There are a proliferation of clubs for a variety of reasons, one being ego that nothing to do with rec ball.

It is not horrible that there are "rec-ish" teams out there. Many of those players are going to play on a freshman or JV team right? Doesn't necessarily mean they are going to be on varsity, play in college, etc. So not evil that there are teams out there.
