Age is one of a number of factors but could be offset by other factors


Unfortunately, many of those factors don't exist, specifically, a track record of success in a power conference.

And it's not "he's 55 and therefore senile and weak"--it's "he's 55 and therefore closer to retirement than you'd like for a coach that needs to rebuild a program and learn to recruit in the ACC."
