I don’t understand how anyone can think Buzz has left us better off. What has left us better off is that we are willing as a school to pay $3 million a year for a coach. That puts us in a different league and Buzz ended up a very effective way to spend that money. He got results but did nothing for us over the long term. It was and is a pump and dump plain and simple. he inherited a way more complete roster from JJ than he’s leaving. Compare what Dean Smith left UNC to our current roster: Haywood, Jamison, Cota, Williams and oh yeah Vince Carter.
