Initially my only intent in responding

to yours and others' posts about the "historic, epic, unprecedented, blah blah, blah" accomplishments of this year's team was because I feel people either don't realize or don’t respect what has been done with VT Hoops before (and, as I said, in much more difficult circumstances than Williams faced). I have said he had some good years and this one was better than that. Nevertheless it is far from the delta you're implying in relation to other years. That was all I wanted to say.

You seem to be unable to respond without using incongruent analogies ("Chicken Little on Steroids" (huh?), opinion adjectives (to provide non-specific visuals, i.e."downtrodden," "hilarious," "ridiculous, "stupid") and ad hominem attacks ("a fool". I don't think that was directed at me but it was to someone) to attempt to state your position.

Buzz Williams was not at all "genuine" in that obviously staged and scripted video. He posts those videos because he knows they work. It buys him a cult-like following from people who feel persecuted and are either unable or unwilling to accept others not "like" them. Are his video prayers "mandatory?" What would happen if one of his players had a different religion, or none at all, and did not want to participate in the prayer? Do I have to ask? He is a coach. He works for the State. He is not a Pastor (or a Rabbi).

Which brings us back to Seth Greenberg. Social media or no, even if he wanted to, he would never put his "religion on his sleeve" because: he knows he cannot. He would be reminded, quickly and unconditionally, that he's out of place doing so. He would risk professional and personal consequences. How many "Get ready for an ass-kicking you Christian Bastard" signs do you think Buzz Williams has seen? Re your conjecture: "I bet Seth would," " he probably would." I "bet" he "probably" would not.

As far as Williams' "good works": "Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them." What else could that prayer video be? His charities are fine but: he is a very wealthy man. He likely has some substantial deductions. Maybe he ought to release his tax returns?

I was never a Weaver fan. I do not feel "conned" by Williams leaving. To the contrary: I wish he had never been at Tech in the first place.

You're up. Tell me again how my perspective is "stupid."
