and he did so in roughly 4 years. Basketball is a much easier turn than Football. You just need 2 or 3 players and you can go worst to first or close to it.

UNC/Duke/UVA are a step above but UVA was a crappy middle packer less than 10 years ago. Now they are a front runner. Buzz proved that you can win quickly with good coaching and decent players and had he had a 10 year mindset and recruited as such the past two years VT could very well have knocked one of the current big 3 (Duke/UNC/UVA) off the pedestal. I see Duke and UNC as very vulnerable right now long term. One and done players are hurting them and parity is real. Once coach K and Williams go both Duke and UNC could be in for at least few years of decline if they don't make a good hire (see UNC under Doherty).
