you might want to do your homework before you post. VT beat Toledo and Indiana in 1967. They lost to Dayton in OT to miss the final four. See the link. I know, I listened to the radio/watched those games in Blacksburg on black and white TV.

I don't like Williams. I haven't from the day he got to Tech. He's a phoney. An "estafador" (a con man). I have said that he is a good coach (as far as the product on the floor goes). Everywhere else, no.

And I do deny that VT's basketball profile is "higher than it has ever been before." After it crashes next year and you're watching VT recruits and transfers playing in College Station you'll get the idea. Three years from now it will be a blip. People won't have a bit more respect for the Buzz Williams "era" than you do right now for coaches who did a better job, against higher odds, dealing with considerably more difficult circumstances than Buzz ever did.
