How long ago? 2000?


I don't blame him for leaving Clemson at that time. He also took the job at Texas which probably paid him a lot more. ACC coaches now are paid pretty handsomely.

It's still rare for ACC coaches to leave voluntarily. Most are fired for poor performance.
