On paper Wojo entered a program which was still well respected and had been to the NCAA Tourney 8 of the 9 prior seasons before Buzz left and had been to the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 in Buzz's last 3 years. In other words they still had a good name and momentum. Yeah when Buzz left that recruiting class tanked but Wojo still had a way easier path to success and yet the results he had vs. what Buzz did at VT were mostly were mediocre at best in a less competitive league with this past year being his only really decent season. I'd say just judging records he is probably a decent coach but not a miracle worker or program changer. I'd expect .500 type records if we hire him but that is just a gut reaction based on little info. When I post stuff like this I am usually totally wrong though so I'll just trust in Whit and hope I am wrong as usual.
