I do think the offense should be able to put up more points this season

(assuming there are no significant injuries that throw a monkey wrench in that plan). The only question I may have about the offense is if the offense has to perform like it is at a track meet because the defense still has its issues for whatever reason, then will the offense be able to consistently perform for the entire season? (Think Big XII football)

Whereas on defense, I have a whole bunch of questions for different reasons. I do hope that the defense is somehow able to turn things around this year and get back to being to a typical Foster defense. If the defense is giving up 30 or 40 points per game, then a part of me will wonder if there is something going on with the unit. At the same time I will be asking myself is it realistic to expect all 3 levels (i.e. DL, LB, DB) to be in sync at the same time or will this be the type of season where only 2 of the 3 levels to be in sync for any game? Given that Foster is going into his final year of his contract, how much fire does he have left in the tank to coach? If this is his final season, then will the team have a similar season as Beamer's final year or will the team send Foster out the way Beamer should have gone out (10+ win season)?
