My son has one in his dorm.

After living in a Texas for 15 years I will say Texans are proud of their state. (Not sure if I’m a Texan yet-no boots, no truck & no cowboy or trucker hat)

I’ve spent significant parts of my life in PA & VA and never saw the state pride you see in Texas.

Now when it comes to sports, I think the North East USA is much more passionate & confrontational about pro sports. People are more passionate about collegiate sports in Texas vs North East.

In VA you see a lot of passion and pride from VT alums. In Texas you see it from 6-7 Universities.
