At what point is “home” no longer home?

By choice I left VA for TX 15 years ago. Texas is now my home. My parents retired to Winchester from Nova so I still have family there.

I have zero desire to spend any time in Va outside a visit see my folks or to come to Blacksburg for a weekend football game.

Noted: my wife is also VT grad and also exNova works in DC 20+ weeks a year & she has no desire to move back either, even though it would make her life a lot easier.

Our son is currently a second year Hokie
