So, just to beat a dead horse, what was the JRob strategy coming into this
game?
I correctly guessed that JRob would not start the game (pats self on back) b/c we actually have a decent team w/o him and the goal in the first few minutes was to keep that flow going and get a smooth start but otoh was surprised he got 28 minutes after that, I was guessing he'd get 10-15. (See? I came back and owned up)
Learned from the broadcast that he'd only been running hard for a week (makes sense, "cleared" the previous Sunday) before that was on the anti-gravity (?) machine which I assume isn't doing much for fast-twitch.
CC noted in his column that he was off-ball a lot so the goal was A) obviously to get some game time experience back B) but otherwise just to run the court a few more times? Also kinda thinking the early lead allowed him more time on the court.
Interesting blend of KBJr high post and a few JRob kamikaze drive/assist leader sets. So yeah, I think everything concerning JRob's use got accomplished. Drawing fouls/free throws was probaby JRob's biggest contribution last night otoh hand, he stumbled a little bit on a fast break, not quite as fast as he thinks/wanted to be. But again, everything accomplished relative to re-hab.
