LOL, here's something funny.

In going over those old schedules and game recaps, I read about how Darius Rice of Miami once scored 31 points against VT in VT's first-ever Big East win.

So I looked Rice up. He was a pretty good ball player, but he never played in the NBA. He played for:

2004–2005 Florida Flame
2005–2006 Gary Steelheads
2006 Marinos de Anzoátegui
2006 Polpak Świecie
2006–2007 Jilin Northeast Tigers
2007 Dakota Wizards
2007–2008 Purefoods Star Hotshots
2008 Gigantes de Carolina
2009 Atlético Atenas Montevideo
2009–2010 Szolnoki Olaj
2010 Capitanes de Arecibo
2010–2011 An Nahl Sharjah
2011 Atléticos de San Germán
2011–2012 Al Manama
2012–2013 Texas Legends
2013–2014 Hitachi SunRockers
2014 Maccabi Ashdod
2015 Karpoš Sokoli
2016 Al-Ahli
2016 Al-Fateh
2016 NS Matrix
2016 Austin Spurs
2017 Mineros de Zacatecas
2018 Al-Karkh SC

Yes, in 2007-2008, Darius Rice played for the Purefoods Star Hotshots. That is not a typo. But maybe it is. They were actually called the "Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants" per the link below.

Pretty impressive that the dude played through last year. That's a long professional (to use the term loosely) career.
