Given where we were at the time (mired in the Atlantic 10), was Stokes

really a yard-sale hire? He had assistant coaching experience at Virginia, Bowling Green, Wake Forest, and Texas. Isn't that the sort of hires that programs in mid-major conferences make?

(I did not like the Hussey hire, but I find it difficult to criticize the Stokes hire. If you're going to criticize it, do you also criticize the Dave Cianelli hire?)
