Played against him in HS. He was the sixth man on the best public high school team I’ve ever seen the 1988 Patrick Henry Roanoke Patriots. (Featured future UNC and Laker George Lynch, UofR Star Curtis Blair who was/is? an NBA ref)
I remember they beat Alonzo Mourning’s Indian River team by 17 points in VHSL semifinals on their way to state championship
