I only knew of this kid from reading this message board. I've now had an opportunity to see him three times and look at his stats. Bottom line, he would not start for us and, if we were healthy, would not play that much for us. He mainly starts for Georgetown because of their overall weak guard rotation. McClung shoots Kabongo-like numbers (.395 overall/.283 3-pt). He has more turnovers than assists and he is a below average defender. He can be exciting at times and would be nice to have on the bench to generate some instant offense but he isn't a Buzz type of player. I understand why our interest was low. That being said, he will clearly be a 4 year college player and will have the opportunity to score a lot of points if he improves his shooting.
