I am assuming the angle was picked because it would make it easier for the school to add an upper deck if/when the decision was made to expand the capacity. In this regard, I do think Colorado State has done a better job than VT at anticipating possible future events. Even if VT has the demand to justify expanding the capacity of Lane, VT future expansion options are still limited because expansion of Lane was done more like a patchwork quilt.
