When we get stable at the QB position, we will see an entrenched starter. The issue has been a HUGE hangover from Beamer's later years when there was a sharp drop off in QB recruiting.

Josh Jackson simply wasn't good enough to be "the guy". He was simply the best available at the time. FU did a great job getting him coached up, but his limitations were obvious.

Willis most likely will start for another year, then we should expect to see a more conventional succession at quarterback.
