While he may not have been the best fit because hadn't coached safeties before. Apparently he is from Mississippi, and when you couple that with the fact that his younger brother is on Ole Miss's staff, I totally get it. Makes sense why he decided to leave. I don't think someone with Nix's coaching experience was a liability, but I am glad his departure opened a spot for Hamilton.
