For everyone who likes to throw out

the name of their favorite ex-player that's never coached before whenever a coaching position comes open, I present to you Exhibit A: Justin Hamilton. His resume may not be super long and may not have a lot of big name places on it, but he did start small and took the grunt jobs to get started. This is out how you start your coaching career. It is rare someone is effective in a power 5 or even G5 position coaching role right off the street, if they even get hired.
I'm glad for this promotion and eager to see what he can do. He also has a level of humility I respect, as he could have gotten mad when they hired Nix instead of taking the interim tag off him the first time. Instead, he had an old school work harder mentality where he swallowed his pride (if he had to) and went to work harder, more determined to prove his worth.
Bully for you Justin, go get em.
