On the Justin Hamilton hire-

Too busy to think too much about it, but I also recently read the RT article on Fuente recruiting. VT resources are limited (story of my life) so they are doing more, smaller recruiting events. They are relying more on current players to sell the program?

How does JH fit into recruiting?

Sounds like JH is a players coach, which is great for prospect of coaching. Does this translate into a Torrian Gray factor where he was so good and had so much good coaching that this carried over to his coaching ability?

My only concern is that he may be a step up from Nix- okay, but maybe a lot of other coaches were too? Does JH have the experience and ability to recruit? Is he a recruiting liability when up against VT’s recruiting competitors?

Every coach has to start somewhere, and he likely paid his dues and is a known quantity in operations and live for VT. I get all that. I haven’t seen anywhere though that he has any experience on the recruiting trail and this seems like a Jim Weaver down the hall hire.

Hopefully it’s not and he’s the next Torrian Gray!
