They can finish with an 12-6 record in the ACC, and likely

Louisville plays UVA twice still
FSU plays VT and UNC
Syracuse plays UVA, Duke, and UNC

Louisville and Syracuse play each other....

The VT-FSU game could be the swing game.

But VT has a real chance to finish 4th in the ACC, which is probably about as good as we could have hoped assuming Duke, UNC, and UVA are the top tier. If we lose to FSU as well as the other likely losses than we could be back in a middle tier but still in the top 5-6

If Robinson had not gotten hurt, perhaps we beat Clemson and Louisville and finish with only 4 losses. Still likely top 4.... IMagine. Top 4 in the ACC in which we were seen as a football school.
