Shouldn't drop much from 2018 or any other year.


it's not a great home schedule, but most want to keep the consecutive season ticket buyer streak going. From 2020 on each year has a marquee home opponent and some have two. Penn State in 2020 is a monster.

It's important to remember that a relatively small portion of Tech alumni are football fans, and a much smaller portion of that group buy season tickets. That small segment is comprised of hard core Hokie fans that are less likely to ditch when things get bad. Moreover, the small number of that group that do bail are probably not big money donors, which means they are more easily replaced.

VT will be the victim of overall gradual drops in attendance that every other sport has experienced, but I would not put too much emphasis on 2018.
