FSU, Miami, Texas, OU and USC get/got away with plenty. None are in the SEC but below the 36th parallel and all have cheated their way to success at some point in time. OSU seems to be the only team north of the parallel that has won title in college football since 1998. Surprised Clemson can’t get away with this one, but something tells me they get away with plenty. That’s my south of the 36th parallel theory.
