If you mean short term, no probably not. But if Fu is deemed not to be the guy in a year or two these guys are just getting started a little early.
There are plenty of programs where the money dried up, a coach did poorly because he was the wrong guy, and a change was made. If they believe that, it will help long term.
Coaches are like real estate agents. A trained dog could sell a house in a hot market, the real agents can sell during a downturn. A coach that is worth anything will look at what he has available to him and proceed accordingly. He will find a way to be successful, even marginally, due to his skills without the best players. It's more so about putting them in the best position to succeed. So either way, whether season tickets sell well or not, bed is the coaching staff's to make.

If you are talking about the schedule, then the money drying up will speak to the AD and they will know to be more agressive with the home slate. No matter what a message will be sent.
