Look at the Rivals 125 for Georgia, and there is only one QB on the list, a QB signed by Georgia Tech. Interesting that this year, high school QBs out of Georgia are not top tier. Even the University of Georgia opted to sign two QBs out of Mississippi and Michigan instead of signing Georgia natives.
But I would ask not how, or why, but what Fuente sees in Kadum. Does he have the ability to play at this level with the right coaching? I'm guessing Fuente thinks absolutely. Look at Knox's video as a 3-star recruit, compare it to some 2-star kid named Paxton Lynch.
He's played at a high level winning two state championships. Get him in the weight room and on the practice field, and he's potentially a fine QB for Tech in two or three years.
